BESSIS Hugh-Joel
Hugh-Joel BESSIS is a professor in HEC School of Management, Paris. He is teaching in areas of Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, and Risk Management. Professor Bessis has more than 20 years’ professional experience in business; he is in charge of risk analytics at the risk department of CDC IXIS, Investment Bank in Paris, and was previously Director of Research at Fitch, a leading global rating agency. Professor Bessis has been a consultant to risk departments of several banking institutions in Europe, and held a seven-year consultancy position in the Risk Department at Banque Paribas. Dr. Bessis is the author of several books and numerous articles in academic and business journals.
