Grants for International Students
Starting in 2009, BMI Executive MBA foreign applicants who reside outside Lithuania may be eligible for grants equivalent to as much as 50% of EMBA tuition.
The grants are designed to make this top level training programme for high potential business leaders more accessible to international students who can add value to the learning experience at BMI.
BMI Executive MBA International Student Grants are open to qualifying candidates only.
To qualify for a grant, you must:
- reside outside Lithuania;
- qualify for admission to the BMI Executive MBA programme;
- write a Grant Request: a one-page essay on the topic “Why I should receive a grant to study in the BMI Executive MBA programme”, highlighting both, your professional and intellectual merit as well as your financial need* for such a grant;
- complete the BMI EMBA application form and submit it together with your Grant Request by October 21, 2011.
* Note: financial need is one of the most important criteria when considering requests for a grant.
Your request for a grant is evaluated according to a range of criteria which include your work experience and professional performance, academic records, proficiency in English, professional recommendations, the content of your Grant Request essay, evidence of an international outlook, strong motivation, and demonstrated leadership potential. Grant requests are evaluated based on both merit and need - so the essay you submit should highlight your achievements, but also explain why you need financial support.
You will be informed about the precise amount of your International Student Grant after you receive an offer of admission to the BMI Executive MBA programme.
