Business and Corporate Strategy
The objective of this course is to review the main concepts, methods and tools used in strategy formulation and the implementation process. Business situations in which they can be applied most effectively will be identified, and limitations of the various approaches will be discussed.
The course covers the main aspects of strategic management:

the analysis of the firm's external environment, i.e., industry analysis and competitor analysis;

the identification of the sources of competitive advantage for the firm and the formulation of specific competitive strategies;

the formulation of corporate strategy in diversified companies.
