Organisational Design and Management of Change
In a business context of rapid change and growing complexity, designing an organisational structure for a firm is a task with many dimensions. This course concentrates on three major business issues that impact on organisation design: product or service diversification, globalisation and innovation. The course focuses on the links between strategic choices made by the firm and their organisational consequences.
Today organisations must change. Managers must manage change. The course provides students with an opportunity to explore some of the challenges posed by change management, like theory of change, organisational development, reorganisation strategies, sociological analyses for enabling change.
