Executive MBA Candidates Meet Alumni at Back-to-School Event

Candidates and potential applicants for International Executive MBA Class XI at the Baltic Management Institute met Thursday evening with BMI alumni and current students for a pleasant evening of knowledge, contacts and new opportunities.

 

About 200 people - including 75 acutal or potential EMBA candidates - attended BMI’s traditional “Back-to-School Barbeque”, which began with an information session about the internationally accredited degree programme for talented business leaders and professionals, and concluded with leisurely discussion over dinner. The evening also included a lecture titled “East meets West” by Ms. Yang Liu, a celebrated designer and author with intercultural insights that are ever more valuable and relevant to business as Asian players intensify their global business activities.

 

"Experienced managers and outstanding professionals sooner or later come to the point in life where they have to make a decision about their future," BMI Director General Jaunius Pusvaškis told the gathering. "In light of today’s economic challenges, many think they have reached the 'ceiling'," he continued. "But in fact there is no limit at the top. Now it is the time to see and seize new opportunities by using the practical knowledge you gain in the BMI International EMBA and find a new solid 'floor' for personal and business growth."
