Announcement: Education Minister to meet EFMD head and BMI partners before EPAS Accreditation Ceremony

On Wednesday, March 3, Lithuanian Education Minister Gintaras Steponavičius will receive the head of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and representatives of BMI consortium partner business schools before a special ceremony to mark accreditation at the highest global level for the BMI International Executive MBA programme.

 

The BMI Executive MBA is the first and so far only programme in the Baltic region accredited by the EFMD with the prestigious EPAS Programme Quality Label. In the ceremony at the Education Ministry in Vilnius, EFMD Director General Prof. Eric Cornuel will present BMI with the certificate of full EPAS accreditation.

 

EPAS accreditation of the BMI Executive MBA is being granted for the maximum period of 5 years after a recent review by international peers confirmed the programme’s academic rigour, international identity, corporate relevance, quality assurance systems and outstanding alumni.

 

Participants at Wednesday’s meeting with the Minister will include:

-          Mr. Jaunius Pusvaškis, Director General of BMI

-          Rolandas Valiūnas, Chairman of the Board of BMI

-          Prof. Pierre Semal, IAG-Louvain School of Management, Belgium

-          Prof. Jean-Paul Larçon,  HEC School of Management, France

-          Prof. Eric Guthey, Copenhagen Business School, Denmark

-          Prof. Rolf Brunstad, NHH School of Economics and Business Administration, Norway

-          Mr. Vytas Gruodis, a BMI founder
