Record Number of EMBA Students Set to Graduate after Successfully Defending Diploma Papers

A record 52 BMI International Executive MBA students successfully defended their Diploma Papers on June 4 and 5 as the last step in the challenging 18-month programme for high-level business executives.

 

An International Diploma Defence Committee, consisting of representatives from BMI’s international partner schools, alumni, governing board and management, assessed the student’s written and oral presentations of their individual research. The average diploma paper grade for the group was 8.

 

In their theses, students applied contemporary management theory to real-life cases in the areas of corporate strategy, governance, finance, marketing and branding, organizational structures, human resource management, ethics, leadership, technology and corporate social responsibility.

 

Executive MBA students who complete all courses and project work and then successfully defend a Diploma Paper are granted an International Executive MBA Certificate issued by the BMI’s five European consortium schools and are awarded a Master‘s degree by Vytautas Magnus University.
