Global Executive and Minister Add Practical Insight to Macroeconomics Course
30.5.2010
The “Global Economic Environment Course” for BMI Executive MBA Class XI was enhanced by two high-powered guest speakers.
Lithuanian Minister of Economy Dainius Kreivys spoke and answered students’ questions about the country’s economic outlook and government policies on May 28.
Another guest lecture, entitled “how companies evaluate countries before investing there”, was led on May 29 by Stephan Csoma, Senior Vice President at UMICORE, a global material-technologies company based in Belgium, which is the world’s largest refiner of precious metals. Mr. Csoma himself has been involved in Umicore investments and operations in Brazil, South Africa, China and other countries.
EMBA student executives said the guest speakers added valuable practical managerial insight to the course on macroeconomics.
