Belarus Alumni Launch Business Leaders Club, 1st Event on Aug. 24

Several past and present BMI Executive MBA students in Minsk have created the Belarus Business Leaders Club (BLC), as a forum for active networking among English-speaking business managers in Belarus, sharing advice and experience, and promoting members’ ongoing professional development.

 

BMI plans to support the initiative by providing guest speakers for BLC meetings as well as information about executive education opportunities.

 

The start-up event of the Belarus Business Leaders Club will take place on Tuesday, 24 August 2010, from 15:45 to 17:45, at IBB Business Center (11 Gazeta Pravda Ave., 220116 Minsk). The event will be conducted in English.

 

This first BLC gathering will include a lecture by BMI EMBA IV alumnus Paulius Kibiša, CEO of Alita Group, the largest Lithuanian alcoholic beverages producer, who will speak about “Change Management and Leadership”.  Participants will also have an opportunity to discuss EMBA and other executive education opportunities with representatives of BMI.
